John PENDER married 28 August 1833 Sarah Ann HALL at Grimsby, Niagara District, Ontario, Canada.
Resided at Tilsonburg, London, Ontario; also Clinton, Ontario. And Malahide and Dorchester, Ontario. Family rumor has it that John was a sea captain from England but Canadian census of 1871 shows his ethnicity as Irish.
Family rumor also has it that Sarah Hall was from "Hall's Mills" Ireland. Have not been able yet to place her there.
Our Pender branch (William, son of John) came to the state of Washington.
Looking for clues as to origin of John PENDER previous to his marriage.
