The names to which you refer Pernat/Pender more specifically John Pender and Rudy Pender are familiar to me.
My grandfather was John Pender. From what I remember he lived in Chilsholm, MN most of his life. He passed away in July of 1969. He was married to Mary (Skosich sp?) Pender. They had four children William, Robert, Darlene and Delores. Wiliam Pender lives in Hoyt Lakes, MN. Robert Pender lives in Chilsholm, MN. Darlene (Pender) Crawford my mother lives in Spring Grove, MN. Delores Field lives in Gretna, LA.
I am just starting to gather information on the Pender family and would love to be able to trace the Pender/Pernat name back to Yugoslavia.
