I am searching for information on the parents of Sarah Luther Smith Pender. She was born in Louisiana, probably West Feliciana Parish, on 1/20/1881. She married Arthur J. Pender Sr. and had 7 children: William S. about 1903, Walter E. about 1905, Mary E. about 1909, Charles D. about 1909, james K. about 1912, Arthur Jr. about 1914 and Susie E. about 1916. Sarah died in Attala Cty, MS. 7/1978.
I have information that Sarah's father was Louis Luther Smith Smith of West Feliciana Parish who was born 3/19/1858. Does anyone know her mother's name or any other information about her parents?
