BRIAN J. PENDER
Brian Jarrod Pender, 21, died Monday, March 1, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at North Edgecombe High School, Leggett with Rev. Charles Battle Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Gethsemane, Rocky Mount.
Pender is survived by his father, Anthony "Tony" Pender of the home; mother, Carolyn Freeman Pender of the home; a brother, Anthony (Ernesta) Harrell of Nashville; a sister, Kateisha Pender (Timothy) Jones of Rocky Mount.
He was a member of End Street Baptist Church, a 2000 graduate of North Edgecombe High School, Leggett and a senior at Elizabeth City State University, Elizabeth City.
Arrangements by Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Tarboro.
Note: This person was murdered at college. We know them well. He is from a fine family.
