Has anyone found a "will" for Thomas Penn, born abt. 1771 VA and listed on 1820 census in Nelson Co., VA he was over age 45 with young children and no wife?
Thomas Penn married 27 Sept. 1796 in Amherst Co., VA-Behethland Stephens/Stevens who died before 1810-1813 in probably Nelson Co. She was daughter of James Stevens who died in 1813 in Nelson Co., VA.
Thomas Penn & Behethland (Stevens) Penn had two daughters; Sarah Wilson "Sally" Penn, born abt. 1803; Behethland Stevens, born abt. 1804-1810.
When the 1820 census was taken in Nelson Co., VA, Thomas Penn's daughter, Sarah Wilson "Sally" Penn had already married on 17 Dec. 1818 in Nelson Co., VA-Robert Burton and Thomas Penn gave security bond.
