Charles Penn Wilson 1880's Pennsylvania

Hi Everyone

I am researching an ancestor of mine named Charles Penn Wilson. All I know is that he married Kathleen Pooley in Port Elizabeth in South Africa around 1900. They had two children Philip wilson and Barbara Kirkwood Wilson (my grandmother). The story is that his mother was a Penn that was born in America and that we had a family ring bearing the Penn family crest in rusted onyx (my father had it but when he passed on noone knows where it went). Also in the family is the story that his mothers family were the original founders of the Pennzoil company.

I am trying to trace the history for Charles Penn Wilson.
Any thoughts or info would be greatly appreciated.

Charlene
