Thank you, Patricia, for your reply. The note I have says that my Great Grandmother's name was Ellen Black, so Elizabeth Ellen Black could very well be the same person. I found the following while searching the Web:
My Grandmother's name was Sarah Penn, and I thought she was an only child, but she could have had a sibling who died at a young age.
