I am searching for my GGgrandfather and GGGgrandfather. I found an obituary that tells me my GGgrandfather was John Thomas Peters of Kenova, WV. I know he was married to Louisa Workman. He died in the 1940’s. Died in Rome Township, Lawrence County, OH. Buried in Rome/Proctorville Cemetery lane 11. His children were Elza (my grandfather), Alonzo, Okey, Myrtle, and Anna Rachel. A relative told me that they think his father was J.O. (James Oscar) Peters and that he was originally from the Harrisburg, PA area but settled near Kenova, WV. Does anyone have any links to these two men? I recently came into possession of pictures of Elza.
