I don't have a birth date for Polly, but Jacob was born in 1811 in Kentucky.
They had 3 children
William F. Smith born 11 Jul 1835 in Illinois
John Albert Smith Born 14 Oct 1840 in Morgan County Illinois
David Jacob Charles Smith born 26 May 1845
Soon after David Jacob Charles Smith was born, Jacob remarried a Malinda Boyer in Morgan County Illinois and had 10 more children. Some time after 1854, the family moved to Missouri, probably Scotland County, because that's where Jacob ended up.
I can list the other 10 children if you like, but all of them ended up in Scotland County Missouri.
