Hi Jone,I dont have anything much (suprise) on my Thomas either,I know he was born 1775c Monaghan and had brothers Edward,James,& George.Have no idea if these were also born monaghan.Thomas who was in the Army named his sons after his brothers.His wife was Susannah Crawford,and their daughter was named susannah.I understand the last Plunkett (mary from memory)died about 12yrs ago.no Plunketts there now.Your Plunketts are quite a bit later than these and as they all moved away are not that likely to be parents of your Plunkett.HOWEVER there is most likely a connection.Now to find it.cheers Doreen
