Mr.And Mrs Jim B Pomeroy of 3593 Coleman,who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Tuesday,will be honored today at a reception given by their son and his wife,Mr.and Mrs.John B Pomeroy of 747 Spring. The reception will be from 3:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m. at 747 Spring. The Pomeroy wre married June 16,1909 in West Jackson Baptish Church in Jackson,Tenn. Mr Pomeroy was born in Dyersburg,Tenn.and Mrs.Pomeroy,the former Katie Bills,was born in Trenton,Tenn.Both lived most of their life in Jackson,before coming to Memphis in 1952. He is 76 and she is 73. Mr.Pomeroy was with the Illinois Central Railroad and Gulf,Mobile,and Ohio Railroad until he retired in 1951. They have tow daughters,Mrs.William Peel of Miami,Fla.,and Mrs.Jerry Seabough of Brunswich Mo; eight grandchildren,and one great-grandchild
