Jonathan, I have seen the date on Cheryl Hemmingway’s work. If Nehemiah and Anna’s marriage record is copied and enlarged, it clearly states 1767. I do the majority of my own research. If it isn’t mine, I give the person who did the research credit. I’m not sure I’m making myself clear. I think that Humphrey, Benjamin, John and a daughter married to Benjamin Smith are the only children of Anna’s. I think all the others associated with Nehemiah to be his but not Anna’s. Who the mother of these other males are, I don’t know. I know that Nehemiah was never legally married to them because he was still married to Anna when he died. About William: I know he was born between 1790 and 1800. I think he had to be born either 1790 or 91 because he was a Lt. in the War of 1812 and I don’t believe they would give that rank to a teenager. William and Elizabeth married about 1812 and 1813 because their 1st child James, was born in 1814. If that is the case, I don’t think one of those males under 16 living with Nehemiah in 1790 could have been William’s father . I think we are safe to say that William’s descendants can trace their lineage back to Nehemiah Sr. About Shadrack: I don’t know who his father was. He was not in any of the records in Pulaski County. I also don’t have any knowledge of Macajah in SC. I have not done any research in SC and he is not mentioned in Mrs. Copeland’ s work. If you don’t mind sharing, I would like to have what you have on him. I really would like a definitive answer on Shadrack, Macajah(Pulaski) and Noah. Joy Notify Administrator about this message?
