I have a transcribed copy of the estate sale of Nehemiah Posey of AIken County SC who died in 1843. A descendent has some of the probate records which I was able to see. Send email address to Aroostook3@aol.com for a copy of the estate sale. Among the papers it states that Elinor Posey and Barbara Posey who married a James Cook were daughters and that another son was Dennis of Edgefield Co. SC. This makes six known children of Nehemiah Posey...... Mark Nehemaih, Martin Friday, Sarah, Elinor, Barbara and Dennis.
