Martin Friday Posey, son of Nehemiah Posey of Aiken SC was born in Jan. 1804 in Orangeburg District and died 1893. He married 3 times 1st wife being M.E. Cook, 2nd Anne Pemberton, daughter of John Pemberton and his wife Elizabeth Johnson. His 3rd wife was names Annis Williams.
