My interest in the Posey family is because of the close relantionship to my Dennis line. These were in the area of Autauga and nearby areas. I don't find a copy of the marraige record in my file but I'm certain that the Dennis Posey in Autauga Co., Al.you mention is actually Posey Dennis. "It is believed that this same Dennis is the one who was living in Alabama in Autauga County in the early years of Alabama.
