Jon, do you think that the Benjamin and the Humphrey Posey you are referring to could be the same ones who are in the 1810 Census in NC? There is also a Francis listed in that census and I believe him to be their brother. They were the three sons of William and Hannah Posey. I cannot find them on the 1820 census but Rev. Humphrey was there according to his biographer, Fleming. He moved there in 1817 to be the leader of the church for the Indians. As far as I know Benjamin never left but none of his family was in the 1820 census. What dates do you have for the Benjamin and Humphrey you are researching? Libby
