My William Posey was born abt 1802 in SC. He md Agnes (maiden name unknown) abt 1824. Known children are:
1) Albert Washington Posey, md Febry C. Hazle, 4 Jul 1843, Benton Co. Ala. Febry d/o James Hazle.
2)*John Wesley Posey b 15 Aug 1827 Benton Co. Ala md Emily Bollinger 13 May 1851 d/o Peter Bollinger & Catherine Haynes
3) Jeremiah H. Posey b 15 Nov 1838, Benton Co. Ala md 1st Sidney Ann Bollinger (Emily's sister) 22 May 1851 Benton Co. Ala. They had 1 child Julia Ann. Sidney died 1852/1855 and Jeremiah md 2nd Elizabeth Franklin Lucas (Randolph) in Nacogdoches Co. TX. Jeremiah went to California. My great great grandfather John Wesley Posey and other family members went to Milam Co. TX. John Wesley Posey's daughter Mary Catherine md John Henry MaGill, they are my great grandparents. I need to know Agnes's maiden name as well as the names of William Posey's parents. Will share. cbh
