Thanks David. One of the posters on GenForum is my first cousins daughter. I researched the family for years and then had to put it on the back burner because of ill health and the loss of our son.
I had found the marriage record for Jeremiah Posey in Nacogdoches a long time back. In 1984 Milam Co. TX was doing a History Book. I submitted all I knew in about my Posey family in story form.
In reading through some of the postings I was surprised to see some of my John Wesley Posey's relatives lived in Freestone Co. TX. There are also some Posey families in Leon Co. TX but I have never asked who their ancestors were. I live in Leon Co. TX and was one of the co-chairman on the History of Leon Co. TX Vol.I. None of the Leon Co. Posey's submitted a story for our book. I need to check them out.
I have Kathie Schwend's PAF on my computer and will go see what she has found. I'll see her Saturday at a family reunion on Saturday. I contact you directly after I check out some things. I will be in touch.cbh
