Pat,

This is my mother's family. The James R. Posey shown in these census records (son of James) was my grandfather.

My family records show the wife of Wm. Kimsey Posey as Louisa Francis Mosely, b 1832, NC, d 1914, Woodbury TX. The records came to me through Kimsey Posey (a cousin of my mother's generation). I am sorry that I can't give you a more solid source. Hope this helps at least a bit.

Also, FYI, my records show the following for Wm. Kimsey Posey:
B 6 Sept 1814, NC
D 24 Sep 1888, Woodbury, TX
