Hope someone can help me with the children of this couple. I believe Minerva was married to a Stanley and perhaps had a daughter named Catherine before she married Riley Millsaps in 1874. The 1900 Federal Census for Monroe County, Tennessee states that Minerva had borne seven children and seven were living. I have so far recorded eight children born before 1900, nine if Catherine was her daughter by Mr. Stanley, so I have a problem.
The children that I have for Riley and Minerva Millsaps are:
William Harris born 1874
Charles C. born 1875
Mary C. born 1876
James L. born 1877
Sofina born 1879
Jessie D. born 1884
Catherine born 1886 and her twin
Mary born 1886
and perhaps Catherine born 1867
I hope someone can help me sort out these children and tell me which ones belong to Riley and Minerva Millsaps.
