There was a Victor Wilman Quam b 1907 in WI to Victor Julius and Janette (Wilman) Quam, who died 1981 in Los Angeles. I have no idea who V W Quam married, but his ancestors came from Norway in 1843 and originally settled in LaSalle Co, IL. Isabel Quam (V W Quam's aunt) married Thomas Edwards, and they ended up in Ashland, WI, where their 3 youngest children were born. This is at least a coincidence of locations with what you are looking for.
