James Richman/Richmond-Wilts to CT 1856

Does anyone have info on the descendants of James Richman who emigrated from Hilperton in Wiltshire, England to CT/RI in 1856, settling in the Putnam/Killingly CT area of Windham County, CT.

James married Hannah Rich in England, and they had children Thomas, James, Ann, Louisa, Elizabeth, Emma, Hannah, John and Charles. All of the descendants lived in the US, and went by Richmond. My ancestry is through the son Thomas, but I have corresponded with descendants of the sons James and John above.

James parents were John and Ann (Marshman) Richman who married in Hilperton in 1811, and had children Elizabeth, Sarah, John, Ann, James, Thomas, Mary and Mary (again). John (the father) was born ca 1788-1791, but his parents are unknown.

Please contact me at rjseaver@home.com if you have info, or need info.

Regards -- Randy
