I need some help as I have hit a complete brick wall.
I have been searching for Gale/Gayle for some time now, apparently he was raised in an orphanage in Pennsylvania and served in the US army in the UK in 1944.
He was a coal miner prior to enlisting into the army which would have possibly been prior to WW2. His name has been spelt differently, he may have served in the 82nd airborne division, not 100& sure.
This is all the information I have, and would appreciate any help please.
