Thomas Rooney, son of Thomas Rooney, born Ireland, died Dundee about 1876. Thomas and his children, Joseph and Mary Ann, are in Dundee by the 1871 census. Mary Ann married another Irish emigrant to Dundee, John James Cox, a coal dealer. Thomas Rooney had a niece, Rebecca McDade, who also emigrated to Dundee. Are there any descendants of these people out there?
