I am looking for any information on the Descendants of John Milton Rose, son of Jesse Rose from Elbert, GA....
I am trying to find a connection with the Elisha Colbert who was living in the Elbert Co., GA in the late 1790's then to Gallatin, Illinois area then on to Tusaloosa Co,Al where in died in 1834. Some reseachers on the internet had connected the Jesse Rose to Drury Rose...Elisha had a son named Drury Colbert...plus on Elisha's wife affidavit Rev War Penion that she filed in 1855, a John Rose was a witness stating he knew Marian and Elisha most of his life..I am betting this is John Milton Rose...Also, I found from other researchers that Drury had a brother named Henry and he was in the same areas in Illinois has Elisha and so Henry's son Edmond Rose had fought in the same Revolutionary war has Elisha in Illinois with the Captian Fors's company in 1811...
Would love to compare notes with anyone that had found any Colbert connestions with the Rose...
