Still looking for any info on Stagton Rose bn. 1802 wife Sophia Smith. Children: Charles bn.1-16-1819 d.1-7-1909, Eliza Anne bn. Sept 1826 d. 1906, Matilda bn. 1832 d. 1-8-1910, John bn.1836, Andrew Jackson bn. 1838 d. 4-4-1897, Maryanne bn. 1841 d. 1865, Susan bn. 1846 d. ?. This Rose family resided in Sommerset County, Pa. in the Lower Turkeyfoot / Ursina area. Stagton and Sophia vanished from the census reports circa 1850's. With help from Christine Rose and the DNA project, this family has been connected with group "K" Long Island New York Roses circa 1640. Need help! Thanks.
