I am looking for any information on Fountain Rose born about 1841, probably in Ohio. I found a Fountain Rose in the 1850 census of Turtle Creek, Warren County, OH living with 70 other males that range in age from 3 - 83. This was a shaker community....Fountain is listed as 9 years old (he is the only Rose listed in this location). I also found a Fountain Rose in the 1860 census of Neosho, Newton County, MO living with the William and Elizabeth Kendrick family, his age is listed as unknown. Then I found a Fountain Rose in the Illinois Civil War records having joined the army on October 25, 1861 in Carrollton, IL at the age of 23 and being discharged on August 2, 1864 in AR for disability. HELP! Are these all the same person? Who are his parents? Anything will help.
