Lena Mae Rose is on 1870 Dubois Co., IN Census age 3 yrs. in the Stephen and Mary Rose household. They are both in their 60's so, Lena is probably a grandchild. Lena is not listed on 1880 census that I can find. She shows up again in Pike Co., IN on 1900 census married to James A (Zale) Whitman. Lena died in 1906 in Pike Co., IN and is buried there. Can anyone help me? Who were her parents? According to 1870 both her parents were born in KY.
