I propose running a project to see if there is a link between the Rushin's & Rushing's in the USA & the Rushen's (& variants)in the UK. A by product would also prove/disprove links between the surname groups & locations in the US.
To get going I need five people to commit to the project to obtain the group price offered by Family Tree DNA. For a 12 marker Y-DNA test the cost is $99-00 plus postage. For a 25 marker Y-DNA test the cost is $169-00 plus postage. This is a very good reduction from the individual price.
