James and Ursula Rushen also had a daughter named Prudence, she was Baptized at Christ Church in Barbados on Aug. 5, 1659. (page 44, Christ Church Parish records transcribed page 259) Where did they all go?
According to Family Tree Maker: "Barbados, settled by the British in 1627, served as a point of origin for many settlers who eventually settled in Virginia, Georgia, the Carolinas, and other American colonies. As a result, many early American families can trace their origins in the New World first to Barbados..."
Often in the early records of the colonies we find a person's named spelled Rushen, Rushin, Rushing and other variations within the same document and different documents throughout a single person's life.

David Donahue's Web site at:
http://web.utk.edu/~ddonahue/families/illinois.htm states, "There is evidence for a James Rushing in New Kent County, Virginia, in 1667, and for a Mathew Rushing in Charles City County, Virginia, before 1670." Just after James, Ursula, James Jr. and Prudence Rushen vanish from the Barbados records.
No one has ever found a record for a Rushing ever emigrating to the colonies nor do they appear in any Crown census or charter, that surname is singular to the Americas, could this be the answer to the Rushing riddle? There are other possibilities but one answer would be to look to the colonies.
