Taken from the Augusta Chronicle.
Sunday October 7, 1917
The burial of Mr. Eugene Randall took place at Harmony Church Monday afternoon. Rev. J. H. Thacket officiating. Mr. Randall was of the Phillippi section and bore the reputation of being a good man. He was 75 years of age and a Confederate Veteran.
Thursday December 24, 1907
Invitations have been received in Augusta Georgia for the marriage of Miss Mattie Randall and Mr. John May, which will be solemnized at the Graniteville Methodist Church on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. A large party from Augusta will go over for the reception which will follow the ceromony.
