Abstracted from the Augusta Chronicle dated 11-27-1936.

Mrs. Catherine Greene, age 53, died 11-26-1936, resident of Vaucluse, SC. Had been ill for several months. Funeral services at Vaucluse Baptist Church. Interment in the Vaucluse Cemetery. Survivors include: daughters, Mrs. Marie Kelly and Marvell Turner both of Gloverville, SC., Mrs. Azille Lowe, Langley; son, Steve Greene; sisters, Mrs. B. F. Grice and Mrs. Lillie Swearingen both of Gloverville, Mrs. Hattie Hughes and Mrs. Cora Smith both of Vaucluse and Pearl Satcher of Graniteville; brother, Miles Koon, Aiken, SC.
