Looking for information about and relatives of World War 1 soldier Joseph Roscoe. He was from Bennettsville and is buried in Flanders Field Cemetery in Belgium. He was killed in action August 31, 1918. He was married to Sarah Ellen Smith (on April 1, 1914). Perhaps a Roll of Honor book of the county was made or something was published in the newspapers some time after his death ? His father’s name was also Joseph and his stephmother was Drucilla McBride.
Purpose: writing a book about those forgotten WW1 soldiers in Flanders Field
