Barbara,
Thank you for your help. I have been looking for the ancestry of my John William Harris born about 1834 probably in Coffee County, TN. I had found William W. and Mary Harris in the 1850 Coffee County TN census with a son, John, 16. My John is supposed to be a cousin to Gov. Isham Harris. I was grasping at straws but had hoped that maybe this would be a possibility.
