I found this information on the 1930 Census for Williamsburg County, SC.
ANDERSON TOWNSHIP District# 114 April 4, 1930:
Arthur B. Martin age 34 born about 1896
Blanche Martin (wife) age 30
Logan Martin (son) age 9
(could not read first name) Martin (son) age 4 5/12
According to this census Arthur was 21 when he married Blanche who was 17.
Above this family was another Martin family on this census.
Daniel Martin age 58
Mary J. Martin (wife) age 51
Henry Martin (son) age 27 (listed as a widow)
Bert? Martin (dau) age 20
Nettie Martin (dau) age 18
Nelia??? Martin (son) age 18
Estelle Martin (dau) age 15
Litha? Martin (dau) age 11
MAYBE this Daniel was the father of your Arthur B. Martin??
According to this census Daniel was 20 when he married Mary J. who was only 15.
