I'm looking for descendants of Andrew Oliver and Margaret Foord Shiell.
Andrew's parents were John Oliver born about 1801 in Selkirk Scotland and Margaret Thorburn born about 1801, unsure of place of birth. Andrew had siblings Isabella (married an Evans), Thomas Bogie married Flora McPherson and Anna Maria Lane, Elizabeth, John married Christina Hope and Mary (died aged 18).
Andrew and his family emigrated to Adelaide, South Australia in 1854, arriving on the John Bunyon at Port Adelaide.
Margaret and her family migrated to Adelaide, South Australia in 1854, arriving on the James Fernie at Port Adelaide. Her parents were George Paterson Shiell and Helen Abbey. Margaret was the oldest of a number of children.
Andrew married Margaret Foord Shiell on January 1 1863, in Adelaide.
Andrew and Margaret had four sons, William Bogie, Robert Abbey, Andrew and David Abbey.
William Bogie married Ellen Jane Harrison, and had two children Stewart (who died in infancy), and Phyllis b.1908. He had a second marriage to Mary Jane Oates (widowed, married name Paull.)
Robert Abbey married Fannie Elizabeth Ann Langdon, they had three children Andrew John Langdon, Ivy Myrtle Guendelene and Douglas Robert James also recorded as Robert James Douglas.
Andrew married Jemima Whitford Munro, and had one son Andrew.
David Abbey married Fanny Gertrude Kerslake. They had five children: Francis Abbey, James Kerslake, Evelyn Grace Shiell, Mary and Fredrick.
