I'm seeking the names of the parents of Nicholas Washington Seitz, born December 1853, probably in Shrewsbury twp or Hopewell twp, York County, Penn., and died 19 Jan 1924 in Airville, Lower Chanceford twp, York County, Penn. N.W. Seitz was an undertaker in Airville.
According to the 1900 census, his mother's first name was Lizzie, which was probably a nickname for Elisabeth. She was born April 1820.
The earliest I have found Nicholas W. Seitz is at age 7 in the 1860 census for Hopewell twp, York County. He is in the household of George Waltimire (probably Waltemeyer), 59, a farmer. Also in the household are Wesley Waltimire, 15, and Eliz. Hildebrand, 35. I have not found Nicholas in 1870, but by 1880 he is in Lower Chanceford twp, living with another family.
