My 3rd great grandmother was Permelia or Paralee Sentell. Her daughter, my 2nd ggm, was America L. (?) who's maiden name might have been Barnett. America married William H. Moorhead in Alabama and probably in Pickens Co. where their first child Samuel Sentell Moorhead was born ca 1845. The 1860 census for Van Zandt Co., Texas indicates that America was born in Georgia and William in Alabama. From Pickens Co., they removed to Lowndes Co., Mississippi and then to Texas. I have been 2 years searching for information on America, Paralee and William with no success. Can anyone help? Thanks.
