I do not have any direct help, but can provide information on the Sentell's in Shelby County in the early 1800's. Samual Sentell, Jr. (Son of Samual Sentell, Sr. and Nancy Stephens of Edgefield County, S.C. ) was born 1-7-1791 in Edgefield County, married Elizabeth Turner born 15 April 1796 (per the Turner family bible) and they moved to Shelby County with the Turner family to the Harpersville community of Shelby County sometime around the 1820's. Samual Sentell Jr.'s will was written July 29 1830 and filed for probate on Aug 6 of 1840. the Turner family was from south carolina. Known children of Samual Jr and Elizabeth are boys Lewis, John W, Elisha, and Martain, girls Mary, Caroline, Martha and Sara. Lewis appears to the be oldest son, born about 1819. Sara had married John A Williams Jan 16, 1841 Shelby county. Elizabeth's will was probated in 1865 and she names the four sons listed above as receiveing the property, and then calls for the 3 youngest daughters, being Caroline, Marthas and Mary to receive money for their education. Sara Williams as her daughter is also listed and these are all the childern listed in the will. your lady may be in the family and may just be related to them from the edgefield connections as they were others of the Sentell family still in Edgefield Co. I hope this is of some help.
