The Lost Colony of Roanoke Island

Hello Smart Families !
My name is Anne Poole and I am a researcher with The Lost Colony Center for Science and Resarch in North Carolina. We are very interested in the Smart surname as it was the name of a male child colonist, Thomas Smart. It is a very real possibility that this child survived to adulthood and produced children of his own. If you have family stories that you have heard about your early ancestors being from the northeastern counties of North Carolina, and even that some of these ancestors were Indian, we would very much like to hear from you ! You may visit our great website for more info, lost-colony.com and also our blog area, the-lost-colony.blogspot.com You may also contact me at croatan@peoplepc.com

Anne
