Thanks for the offer to help out.

My Grandfather's name is/was Donald Smith. Born 15th March 1912, Died in 1970. On the death cert. of my Grandmother, Hazel Caudill, it says they were both born in Blackey, Kentucky. On my Grandfather's birth listing it says he was born in Breathitt, Kentucky.
Now I'm stuck on his father whom my Aunt only knew was named John, but on my Grandfather's birth listing it lists his mother and father as Johnie & Malvry, which turns out to be MalvEry Combs. It seems I've opened a never ending Pandora's Box with my Great Grandmother, but can't find anything about my Great Grandfather, Johnie Smith...other than he was born about 1894.
