1880 census, Bakerville Twp., Clear Creek Co., CO, page 126:
Frank Snodgrass, 35[30?]-M-"Ver"*/"Ver"*/Maryland miner
[* Ver would appear to be the abbreviation for Vermont, but since no Snodgrasses are known to have lived in Vermont before 1900, the census enumerator may have just been misspelling Virginia.]
