Hi Scott, This is probably not related but in my ancestry I have a Alexander Somerville who resided in Kent County, New Brunswick, Canada. He was born around 1861.
He married my GGG aunt Mary Ann Masterton at St Paul's Church in Richibucto NB in 1880. They had two children Robert born early 1880 and Edward born late 1880.
Any chance this Alexander could be decended from your line.
Also after the Canadian census in 1881 this families records are scarce. It is believed that they may have emigrated to the Portland,Maine and/or Boston, Mass. area of the USA.
