I am searching for more information on my 13th great grandmother, Aegida Somerville who was born in Carnwath, Lanarkshire, Scotland in 1463. She was the daughter of John Somerville (1428-91), 2nd Lord of Couthally, and Marie Baillie. She married my 13th great grandfather Thomas Weir (1462-1531) of Blackwood, Scotland. My line is through their son Duncan Weir b.c. 1490. Some sources list her surname as "Somerset", but this is incorrect.
