I'm looking for connections to Somerville from Ireland who came to the Creemore, Ontario area in Essa Township north of Toronto in the early 1800's. As far as I know Pierce Somerville was the first one to come from Ireland in the early 1800's. He married Mary Mooney and was buried in Thornton, Ontario upon his death. They were all farmers of course at that time. Pierce & Mary had a son named Samuel born October 03, 1837 in Creemore. He married Emma Martin and died August 18, 1914 in Creemore. They had a son David Somerville, my great grandfather born February 07, 1863 in Creemore. He married Nancy Morrison and died January 17, 1941 in Creemore. They had a farm in Stayner, Ontario.
