Hi again,
I am not exactly sure if we are related to the same Ebenezer. I have been looking at all of them. My family is from Dutchess County and Sullivan. I have been trying to discover the link between my GGGrandfather and one of the Ebenezer families.
I had my direct Soules descendant(my Uncle Tom) take a DNA test to see which line he was descended from. We accomplished this through the Family Tree DNA website. I know we are descended from George(1) through his son George(2) Nathan(3) Ebenezer(4). Have not gotten the proof as to which line because awe may be from there. I got back to my GGgrandfather in Orange County, but have been having a time finding his father and beyond. The bible that was to go to my grandfather went to someone else, so I have not gotten proof this way either.
I was working with Louise Throop who has been updating the Mayflower Society Soule family. She got me to get my uncle's DNA tested. I have been working on Dutchess county and surrounding counties. You can email me at:
