I would appreciate any comments which might help identify this Adam STEVENS mentioned in a 1750 SC plat for Samuel COLLINS as abstracted online at the SCDAH and newly posted at the link mentioned in my query at the following:

The plat is quite interesting in that it shows a ford to Abraham PENNINGTON's and a path down river to John LENUD's. It also shows the plat as including the mouth of COLLINS Branch on the (BROAD?) River and a ford across the river. (I'd really appreciate some discussion as to this.)

Any comments and suggestions for further research will be greatly appreciated.
