Hi Walton,

Good to see that you are still working on your Stevens genealogy! Although our respective Stevens' families are both Haplogroup I 1 c, we don't match on many of the genetic marker sites and so can't establish a close relationship within the past 1,000 years for our Stevens families.

But what is striking to me is that withing our I 1 c Haplogroupm, you have 3 copies of site 464a, and we have 6 copies (464a, 464b, 464c, 464d, 464e, and 464f). You can check this on YSearch (we are C3SK6). According to the experts at Family Tree DNA, having more than two copies at any one site is most unusual. Any thoughts? -- Sandra
