Nice piece of work you have done on STORMS names.
I married Dorothy June Storm in 1943. Didn't know how she became STORM so I did some research. Note, I don't think Dorothy would match up with your Storms as she does not use the s on end of Storm.
Following my old info when I researched Dorothy past hoping to find her fathers name.

When Dorothys mom died 2-9-1980 she left John M. Arrington cedar chest that contained names on document that were unclear to us survivors. Research using these names carried out. Cedar chest contents and previous conversations suggested that Dorothys Father was Howard Goodman Youmans.
Contacted Youmans in Ca. and found he just died and estate in probate. Lawyer Hope Imogene Case, 4310 Harvey Way, Long Beach, Ca. 90808 called me and asked me if I wanted to protest probate settlement. Not wanting to find out anything but who Dorothys father was I said ignore my observation. Heard no more, but review tells me Dorothys father could have been Youmans.
Mother was 19 years old at birth; If father was Youmans, Howard Goodman he was 21 at that date.

Mary Storm told John M. Arrington that she married a sailor in Ca.. Her daughter Dorothy June Storm (now Arrington) was born 2-14-25. If sailor was Youmans then he would have been 21 at birth date.
Question of whether or not Youmans was in navy in 1924-25 era.
