It appears my first message did not post. I apologize if this is twice. Peter Storm, my sons' great-great grandfather. Immigrated from Germany to Strasburg, Il. Lived in ND for a few years before returning to Illinois. Do not know how many children he had. Son, Clint is my sons' great grandfather. Clint had 3 sons and 1 daughter - sons were Paul, Dean and Eugene Gaylord - do not know daughter's name. Eugene Gaylord is a changed name - do not know his birth name. He married Olive Shadow also from the Strasburg/Windsor, IL area. Eugene was probably born in 1916 - died in 1997 - Mattoon, IL. Eugene had 2 children, a son Richard Eugene born July 18, 1937 and Beverly born July 1938 - d. 1995-96. Richard Eugene is my sons' father - Derek Alan Storm b. July 28, 1959 in Mattoon, IL and Joel Craig Storm born March 22, 1961 in Paxton, IL.
Another Storm family in Illinois inlcuded a Walter Storm - a high school teacher/coach in Mattoon and his sister who married an Orndorff. Walt and his sister were cousins - not first cousins - to Eugene Gaylord. Do not know the status of the ND relationship - perhaps an uncle to Eugene.
Does anyone have information about this family?
My grandchildren - Jeffrey Alan Storm, Alec Michael Storm and Nicholas Andrew Storm - Derek's sons. Cole Nathaniel Storm, MacKenzie Caitlin Storm, Ryan Samuel Storm are Joel's children.
